Albany, VT- Conrad Masse, 76 has been charged with assault
after shooting a fellow hunter Wayne Goff, 56 in a hunting accident.
The two men tracked a bear on Urie Rd. where Masse dropped
off Goff and parked his truck 514 feet down the road. The men waited for the
bear to cross the road then Masse opened fire down the road.
Three shots rang out; two of which hitting the bear and one
hitting Goff. Goff was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
