Lyndonville
Lyndonville, VT- A car accident proved to be fatal early this afternoon.The accident involving Annie Coulter, 86 Swerved to avoid a pedestrian when she drove into the front window of Central Restaurant. Victim John Barker, 59 who was not struck by the car, but died from a heart attack when he was helping Coulter out of her vehicle.
Break Failure
According to Coulter, as she was swerving to avoid the pedestrian her breaks failed causing the accident.
Barker was eating his meal at the restaurant when the accident happened. Although he wasn't struck by the vehicle, he received minor cuts from flying glass.
Barker stood up and helped Coulter out of the vehicle when he complained of chest pains. Barker shortly collapsed after helping and was declared dead at the scene from a heart attack.
